Comparison of Samsung Nori F and LG Cyon Lollipop 2
Video made by me ^^
Well I have to say, if you compare the two the Nori wins ^^
Price: Nori is way cheaper (new), Lollipop 2 (used) costs almost as much as a new Nori F
Battery: Even with 3G Network does the battery in the Nori last 2 days longer than in the Lollipop 2 (which still has a good battery ;-) )
LED: Well… :-) Both phones have really cute LED functions but in my opinion here is the Lollipop the winner. You can customise it on both phones.
T9: Lollipop 2 - No. Nori: Yes, it has a predictive text function.
mp3 files: Lollipop 2 - No (Disabled in the unlocked version). Nori - Yes
Internet (3G): Lollipop 2 - No (Disabled in the unlocked version). Nori - Yes
Dictionary: Both yes. Lollipop 2 has a Korean-English Dictionary. Nori F (the Hong Kong Version) has a Chinese-English dictionary.
Home Screen: This point goes to the Lollipop 2. There are way more possibilities to customise your homescreen.
Font: Lollipop 2 has various cute fonts. Nori F only supports one font (which is sad because the korean version of this phone supports the cute bubble font :-( )
Camera: same specifications. not really a difference.
Menu: Even if the language of the Lollipop 2 is switched to English there are still some Folders or menu points in korean.
Both phones use micro sd memory cards and can handle normal SIMcards.
Lollipop 2 needs the lockcode to access various features (it’s 0000 - the default LG lockcode, I have to enter it every time I want to make a call or view/edit my contacts). Nori F needs no lockcode.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Now that I am using the Samsung Nori F for 4 months now and the LG Cyon Lollipop 2 for 2 months, there are some additional things I’ve noticed :-)
The speakers of both phones are loud! Very loud. If you turn the volume to max. - omg =) (German phones are not nearly as loud ^^)
Bluetooth works perfect on both phones.
They switch off automatically when the battery is too low. (There’s a warning sound before that happens)
Both phones have a fake call function. On the Nori you can find it under Settings/Call/Fake call; On the Lollipop 2 you can find it under Settings/Self protection/Self call
The Lollipop 2 has among the self protection settings also the self siren. Nori (the Hong Kong version) has no self siren (or I haven’t found that out so far? Checked every menu point, it seems to have none)
The battery of the Nori F lasts with normal calling/messaging and little internet use about 5 days (sometimes even up to 6 days when you only use the internet for a few minutes a day and it even lasts up to 7 days when you don’t use the 3g network (for internet) at all - not bad :-) )
The battery of the Lollipop 2 lasts - if you don’t play games too often - with normal calling/messaging use (no internet) about 4 days (can also be up to 5 days when you only play games for a few minutes.
All in all I can say that I’m happy to have those phones and they were worth their money (~$199 new nori f, ~$199 used(!) lollipop 2)
There are already successors on the market but they are not as cute as those two.
A comparison video and some additional information can be found some entries earlier.
